| Hello everyone,
I am giving notice that I will not be able to manage the Multiverse of The United Nations going forward. This is due to increased responsibilities in RL that are taking up more and more of my time.
HOWEVER, I do not want to see this alliance disbanded after all the hard work that a variety of folks have put into making this the alliance what it is today. So I will keep things intact until a suitable person steps forward to assume control of the alliance in all universes.
Please email aleslosh@verizon.net with your interest and vision for this alliance. I am hoping to have someone step forward who is interested in maintaining and growing the alliance both in game and via our website/forum.
Although I am stepping down as Founder, I plan to remain as a Member in all universes where TUN has a presence.

| Alright, I already mentioned this in a private message, but I will put it out in the forum.
My idea is for the alliance to have multiple founders to lessen the workload on a single person. After all, it requires immense time and effort to maintain over 100 players in 8 different universes. So, instead of overburdening one person, we would instead be lead throughout the multiverse by a Council of Founders. Each founder would serve as the main power in their jurisdiction of one or two universes where individual laws tailored to that universe would be made, but they all would meet and make multiverse wide decisions or resolutions (a resolution is not a law and can only strongly/officially recommend something). The goal is that each founder would take up the universes they feel most comfortable with and thus could keep a much better track of things. There are a number of ways the universes could be divided. Two founders could have four universes each, Four founders could have two each, Eight coukd have one each- you get the point. Also, each individual universe might have their own second in command. The second in command would take up a more important day to day role and do more management in that individual universe so that one day they might be experienced enough to become a founder.
In conclusion, the main benefits of my idea are as follows:
A. Less stress on one person to maintain a large number of players
B. Leadership tailored to meet the individual needs of each universe
C. A more active role of the second in command- the second in command is technically being mentored by the founder on how to run the universe
D. Options for people interested in leadership yet feeling that they cannot commit enough time now have the option to serve in a quiet universe and can still bring their leadership qualities to the table
E. Creation of one single body (council of founders) that speaks for all members across all universes
